International Overdose Awareness Day: Rituals Workshop

HOME

Event

Create a performance as an act of respect and remembrance for International Overdose Awareness Day, held annually on 31st August.

We are looking for people in / affected by substance use and recovery to join us for a participatory workshop in Manchester, where we will create a piece of theatre, dance, or performance together, inspired by the idea of ritual. Following the workshop, we will work together to present the outcome at a special event locally.

Come along and be part of creating some brand-new rituals for the recovery community in Manchester. Maybe there is someone specific you would like to remember? Or maybe you would find it empowering to be part of a group ritual? This workshop is for those affected by substance use, addiction and/or in recovery.
