Informed by Artefacts of Interaction, an exhibition currently in the Granada Foundation Galleries at HOME until Sunday 29th March, this workshop builds on methods of co-production that informed the artwork on display. The exhibition explores the tangled terrain where neurodivergence, substance use (prescribed or illicit), and artistic practice can intersect.
As part of Portraits of Recovery’s DRY26 season, this informal workshop is an opportunity to create a collaborative artwork blending styles, ideas, and expressions into a unified collective voice to open conversations around art and sober curiosity.
About the artist:
Will Belshah is a Manchester-based artist exploring the intersections of history, mythology, technology, neurodiversity, and queerness. Through layered symbolism and adaptive techniques, Will’s work bridges the past, present, and future. His art invites viewers to decode hidden narratives across his body of work, fostering a dialogue that connects personal journeys with broader cultural and collective force.
An event for Portraits of Recovery’s DRY26, a brand-new arts programme that enriches the Dry January experience through the power of arts and culture.
