ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Showcasing the work of over 90 female artists and collectives, Women in Revolt! delves into the ideas that fuelled the women’s liberation movement during a time of profound social, economic, and political change. Spanning two decades of art and activism, the exhibition explores six key themes, including maternal and domestic experiences, anti-racist and LGBTQ+ activism, the Greenham Common peace movement, and the influence of punk and independent music.
