6 Dec 2025
3:30pm-4:30pm, Whitworth Gallery

Learn more about the development and key themes of Recoverist Curators, in this guided tour, with Dom Pillai. Each of our Recoverist Curators tours gives a unique personal overview of the exhibition through the eyes of one of six curators.

Join Dominic Pillai, Curator of Social Engagement at Portraits of Recovery, as he takes us on a tour of the Recoverist Curators exhibition. Dom will discuss the development of the exhibibition and the themes that run throught the exhibition.

Driven by the lived experience of substance use and recovery, the Recoverist Curators project is an activist-based process, developing inclusive ways for working with people and communities in recovery. The Recoverist Curators: Re-imagining the World We Live In exhibition has led to the development of new knowledge and increased cultural confidence for successful creative Recoverist engagement.
