This creative, hands-on session, led by Portraits of Recovery trustee Dr Lisa Williams (Department of Criminology, The University of Manchester) combines craft with critical conversation, offering a space to explore drug policy and recovery through art.
During the workshop, you’ll learn the basics of cross-stitch and begin to create your own piece using patterns inspired by drug policy activism, advocacy and recovery.
No experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and creativity!
An event for Portraits of Recovery’s DRY26, a brand-new arts programme that enriches the Dry January experience through the power of arts and culture.
