Inspired by still life painting Two apples, one lemon, and four flowers by David Hockney – featured in the Recoverist Curators exhibition – this family friendly art workshop is a fun way to get creative during the Easter break. Using collage, oil pastels and paint, families can get messy whilst exploring Hockney’s work.
Facilitated by Recoverist Curator Anastasia, who chose this piece stating: “I love the simplicity. For me, it is an expression of the joy of recovery… I have fresh flowers in my home, eat well, and celebrate the ordinariness of everyday.”
